We are delighted to have been awarded for our two-year social innovation project, which was funded by the European Social Fund through the Operational Programme Employment.
The award is further proof to us that our services and activities are really meaningful and that by them, we are helping to address large and complex social problems, which include sexual and domestic violence.
Thanks to the project, we have created, for example, an interactive tool for trauma psychotherapy, new procedures and tools for direct assistance to victims of sexual violence, or background materials for the PORT center, the first comprehensive center for victims of sexual violence in the Czech Republic, which we are now working hard on and which will open at the beginning of the new year.
The main method of the project was Human-centered design (HCD), through which we involved our clients, internal and external collaborators or other experts in the needs analysis or testing of prototype tools.
The award was accepted by our project manager Iva Peterková at the award ceremony in Ostrava.
